Hi,
Some post ago I described how my hands and wrists
went totally numb and I had to wear braces for
a few months. This is was concurrent with the
Klonopin withdrawal, but because the cause was not
certain (neuropath said it was not carpal tunnel;
another doctor said maybe hypothyroidism, and my
own gave no opinion), it was really quite a mystery. It was a mystery until I asked my dr. to raise
my K dose, just in case some of the symptoms,
including this 2-yr long peripheral neuropathy went
away.To my astonishment, the increase is easing the
peripheral neuropathy. I am very enthusiastic
that this is the solution, and that it will not
return - I also have less of other symptoms.I hope this is of interest to some. I do recall
that Dr. Heather Ashton in the benzo group spoke
of motor disorders consequent to benzo withdrawal
lasting as long as 15 years, and I would certainly
be happy not to have to wait that long, simply
by raising my K dose from 1.250 to 1.50 mg.take care
(don't forget the conference in Montreal coming up)

Hi,
Sorry if this is confusing, but questions about medications should go to the original Psycho-Babble (just one "Psycho"):
