Remeron and lithium

Posted by Nala on September 14, 2002, at 6:50:36

Hello folks. My pdoc just added lithium (Eskalith CR 450 mg,3 weeks ago) to my pooped out Remeron 45mg qd regimen. I really don't believe Remeron ever worked for me. It just seems to make me more aggitated (perhaps the Norepinephrine aspect of it) there's anyone who's tried this combo, any input would be helpful. I was also recently diagnosed with BP II. I'm also on Adderall 5mg bid and klonopin 1mg qd. Any thoughts on this unusual combination? I feel ok so far, but not good. Thanks,
Nala

Hi Nala,

I've seen you've already found your way to the meds board. :)

This site can be confusing at times since it has so many boards. This is Psycho-Psycho Babble, about therapy and psychology. Psycho-Babble (one Psycho) is the board dedicated to discussion of meds. It's easy enough to direct your question to the wrong board.

I've taken the liberty of redirecting your question to the meds board. You can follow the link below, or the links at the top of the page. Hope that helps. :)

SAM-E and Remeron

Has anyone tried the combo SAM-E and Remeron? I don't feel as though my serotonin levels are high enough with just the Remeron even at 60mg. In addition, I also take low dose Eskalith 450mg QD.
