I have uncontrollable racing thoughts. Currently, I am taking Zyprexa, which has absolutely no effect on me. Any suggestions for alternative medications? I am quickly running out of hope.

Robert,
As far as medication, that is better addressed on the psycho-babble board which you can find nearthe top of psychological babble.
As far as racing thoughts though, there are ways to help control that. Some people try things such as relaxation and grounding exercises. Sometimes I try to play some music... I am a musician. Concentrating on breathing can help.
If you ask your therapist, He or She may have some good techniques that don't necessarily require meds.s
I hope this helps,
Dee.
