Hello all,
I have been taking some time tonight to catch up and to try to respond as much as I can because I need to take a bit of time off. I hope I didn't hurt anyone if I didn't respond to their post, but I wanted to tie up loose ends before I disappear for a bit.I am going out of town for the day on Thursday and then on Saturday going away again for a conference until next week . I don't know if I will have any internet access while I am gone, and I doubt I will have much time as we are scheduled for sessions and socials from morning to night.
This place can be time consuming! It's so gratifying to be among others who are so wonderfully supportive, kind, wise, generous, and truly unique individuals. I value you all. And it's hard to limit time here.
Okay, I'm getting a bit maudlin here. Because I've decided I need to take the next two weeks (and possibly more)off to focus on my travel and my dissertation. I also have an exam the day I get back, darn it. I just found out that I have an internship set up for me for next fall. Now I just have to propose my dissertation so I CAN go on internship. Don't want to blow this as I have done other times in the past.
I will miss all of you and your poignant, funny, thought-provoking and supportive posts. I will miss KK's return! Oh no. KK, welcome back in advance. We all have been anxiously awaiting you, and I'm here in spirit.
For everyone else, and if I try to mention any more names I will miss someone, so to ALL: take care! I will check in again by the 24th to let you know if I need more time and to say hi.

I must say, I'm rather proud of you for your self control. I may be lacking in that area. Maybe you can email me a few tips?
But, you get to work on the things you need to work on. And if you ever need a listening ear, I'll be here. Unless of course I'm too busy :)
And you better stop back by. I mean business! But, of course, take care of you before you start worrying about others...

This place can take a lot of time.
But know you are loved and missed while you are working hard. And that postive thoughts will be sent out into the universe for you. Not that I think you'll be in great need of them. You are a terrific thinker, a terrific writer, and that's going to show.

Conferences, conferences...both my T and our couples therapist had to reschedule my/our appointments for this week because of a conference. Hmm, if you're at the same one, give Beefcake a big hug and kiss for me, will ya? ;) Seriously, have a great time and when you get back you can tell us all about what you've learned.

Hi GG,
Your dissertation will need little "defense" you're smart, insightful, and will make a fantastic psychologist. The review committee will see it right away. You'll get that internship.
Come back when you're able to, we'll be waiting.
