I am severely depressed have gained a lot of weight and have intense sucidal thoughts. I told this to my shrink and he jsut upped my does of wellbutrin with effexor and xanax. I was on zoloft
for 7 years and it caused weight gain. I just want to feel better, i also have anxiety and paranoia.

I'm not sure exactly what type of input you are hoping for. But I am really sorry that you are having such a hard time, and I'm glad you asked for help.
If you're looking for advice, I guess the only thing I can think of is to maybe consider looking for a therapist outside of your pdoc. A lot of pdocs are very medication focused (and it sounds like maybe that is you pdoc's approach). Psychologists, social workers, counselors, etc. might be able to provide more actual therapy and support, which it sounds like you could use.
