I am a truly sick woman

Posted by lookdownfish on September 21, 2004, at 8:31:45

I had a really strange sexual dream about my T last night and woke up in an orgasmic state. She is lovely and all that, but also about twice my age. The funny thing was, in the dream I said to her, we shouldn't be doing this its against the rules. And she said its ok it's only a dream :) Anyone think I should pay her extra this week?

I have never had a sexual dream about my T, but honestly last night I dreamt that she and I were both naked and she was caressing me. In my car, in the parking lot.

Was there something in the air last night or what?

Are you going to tell yours? I'm too chicken, but I know she'd just say that it's about my needing to be loved. But that's different from being made love to.

My husband and I haven't had sex in ages and the first sexual dream I have is with my female therapist? I am sick, too.

I love that it was OK because it was a dream...

I dreamt that I offered my therapist sex to get him to cancel his vacation. He said no, even in the dream.

I told him and said, "darn, my first sexual dream about you and you said no!" He laughed and said I was too good at protecting myself, even in my dreams.

*sigh* Maybe I should have chosen a woman. Seems like good fantasy material.

No, I think she should pay you!

Actually, if you can stand to tell her about this dream, it will fuel therapy for a while, I'd bet.

In my dreams, I have sex with everyone, though never, I do admit, with my T. We have been naked in my dreams, but have never had sex - that I have remembered.

Honestly, any therapist who is shocked when a client has a dream about having sex with him/her should find a NEW JOB!

Had my therapy session last night and I told her the dream. And I'm so glad I did. Although it was really awkward and I was sniggering like a teenager out of embarrassment, the discussion that followed was really useful and it actually clarified a few things for me very well. The issues are about sexuality and about my tiresome longing for a parental figure. For once I actually feel that maybe I'm getting somewhere with this. So it was a satisfying dream in more ways than one :)

Good for you. I don't know if I'll share mine, but you've shown me that it can be done without dropping through the floor from embarrassment.

I agree - good for you!

I do wonder why it's the things that are the hardest to talk about that seem to be the most productive. Sort of like childbirth.
