no but I have heard about it helping with control on a physical level. It's like learning how to move your energy around your body...I think. that sounds interesting to me.
some people use it for migraines or chronic pain.Keep us posted as to what it's like.

I think you should try it...my son loved it. He used it to learn how to manage his anxiety and he still uses what he learned.
The neat thing is you can actually "see" your stress go up before you "feel" it when you have the electrodes on and you see the screen. You can ease things down before they overwhelm you.
Good luck and let us know how it goes!

My biofeedback therapy was cut short by a personality conflict with the only person in town that offers it. But it was fun while it lasted. At least till he came in the room. Then everything shot up.
But I think even in that short period of time I learned a few things. Even though I was already pretty good at a lot of it from CBT.
I think you'll find it worthwhile. Especially since it's your own therapist offering it.

Well, I had it done yesterday. It was interesting. I will find out next week what he comes up with regarding the results. The next thing he wants to do is for me to learn how to breath so I can control panic/anxiety before it gets out of hand. I already take meds for anxiety, but he said he hopes to get me off them at some point. We will see....
