Shrinking Violet, how are you?

Hi SV,

I know that you're going through a tough time and I was wondering how you are doing.

You can email me, too.

You're going to make me cry, that was SO sweet of you! No one ever thinks of me that way....I needed it too right now, thank you. I'm actually at work, browsing in-between searches (I work PT at my University's library). Seeing my "name" was a pleasant surprise, thank you!

I'm not doing too well, though. :-( I can't write much now the way I'd like, and my connection at home isn't up yet (I just moved, and am still getting settled) but I'll try to email you soon if that's ok.

I hope things are still going better for you. :)

Thanks again,
SV

I work at the library, too! (but I work at the public library)

You know, they have computers in libraries that you can use...

Hi SV,

No crying, you'll make me cry.

You can absolutely email me when you have easier access. I'll try to check it regularly.

Interesting! I'm in library school also. Do you have your MLIS (or MLS)?

I am actually at work now....and I do email short notes to people while at work (and read Babble, shhhh), but in order to really write anything of substance I'd need a quiet place and an uninterrupted block of time, neither which I have right now. And by the time I leave work, I never think to stop at the computers in the actual library to write an email...not sure why. :-/ Besides, I'm always paranoid that someone can read what I'm writing while they pass by.

Thanks for the suggestion, though! lol

Ok, I'll write soon. Thank you! (nm) » Poet

Whether I should get an MLS is under discussion (today, in fact). I have a Master's in Math - I am a software engineer. But that occupation has proven to stressful. Libraries are more peaceful. Except I don't know if I will ever be able to work enough to support myself, even in a library.

Going to work (10 hours a week) at my local library is really good for right now. And I have a key, so if I want to be there when noone else is there, I can. It is a magical place when it is empty.
