Does anyone know what percentage of suicide exists in bi-polar patients?

I know that some days it seems like a viable (realistic) option. The more I think about it, the closer I get to acting on it. Other days, the thoughts are easy to dismiss (fleeting). Am I the norm? No idea.
I have only made one attempt thus far, but and positive that without my medications, I would definitely have tried (possibly been successful) again...many times. Keeping regular on my meds is key. A single missed dose can send me into a tailspin.
