I've never posted on this Board before. I live in an area with only two therapists. Neither are any good. Hoping to move to area where there are many. So how do find a good Therapist. How do you know if they're any good. Had some in the past but seriously they had issues of their own and were of no help to me. Thanks, Phillipa

Don't settle for the first one who doesn't send you running screaming into the night. It's a significant investment of time and money and deserves the same care that any major purchase deserves.

Thanks Dinah, That is definitely good advise. The ones I've seen so far I've had nothing in common with. The last one I saw was a man who said Lucky Ducky . I never went back. I did have one that I could work with who seemed to understand me but she worked with the pdoc who was bad and he wouldn't continue to let her see me. They had different ideas of what was good for me. Thanks Fondly, Phillipa
