Am I getting old?
I surely must be.
I have been having this feeling of looking at everyone and everything and feeling "Ya, been there, done that" And when I read therapy stories here in babble, I get the same feeling - as if I have been in all the boats. And the same in real life - when I see my friends, their aspirations, their growth - everything seems like I have done it already (not literally but figuratively I can understand what everyone is growing through).
I sure must be getting old.

No matter where you have gone or what you have done, there is no way of knowing where you will go or what you will do next.
That's what makes it exciting! Will the boat drift forever, will it sink, or will it land on an uncharted island bountiful with plants, wildlife and rich with nubers of the opposite sex to worship you and be your slaves...

You sure have a way with words curtm :-)
> No matter where you have gone or what you have done, there is no way of knowing where you will go or what you will do next. That is the point - I figure wherever I end up, it would be like I have been there already - (I haven't gone to many places or done too many things), but I feel I already know. Does that make sense? It is like, even if I become a president, it wouldn't be much different from what I am now. IT is kind of a weird feeling.

Now that I thought about it, my pain has been bad this 2 weeks, and I think it might be just my pain making me indifferent. I always get down when my pain (my RA) hits me.

Sorry orchid, hope you feel some better soon.
Pain can surely drag a person down.
Take care,
Muffled

Thanks muffled. Yep, constant pain really sucks.
