my finance tried to coomit suicide after being on effexor 75mg,he was on it 3 weeks. In the 3 weeks I noticed he was extremely up and down. Now because of the way he tried to commit suicide he has lost his short-term memory though the doctor or hopeful he'll get it back. He was in ICU for 4 dys. in a coma so I'm so grateful he's alive and has his personality back.

Oh skylor76, I'm so sorry for your pain and the difficult time you've been having. I don't know much about Effexor but if you post about it on the psychobabble (meds) board there are lots of knowledgable people who know lots about side effects etc. I'm so glad you still have your fiance and that he is improving.
welcome to babble anyway

I'm so sorry. I hope you're doing okay, and I hope he'll be okay.
