I wanted to check in and make sure you are safe. I see on the news that mother nature is pelting you with tornados. Post when you can. I'm thinking about you.

I and my family are ok physically and property wise.
But emotionally I'm feeling pretty vulnerable and... I don't know how to put it. I just feel like curling up and crying. Not very useful I know...

Oh, Dinah, I am so glad you are physically alright. I used to live in the area coined Tornado Alley so I know "terrifying" doesn't even begin to explain it. It's really indescribable, isn't it?
Just let yourself curl up and cry if you need to. Sometimes I think it can help. In the meantime, I'm still here thinking about you and hoping you are able to quickly reclaim your sense of safety and calm.

I feel the same right now...
curled up under the covers... with those things we discussed on babble chat tother night...the nihgt i got locked out the room...I was so enjoying the pace of the conversation with you and the others tht night...there was a nice calm and friendliness in the air..is thats possible online... I donno much, but I think it is possible to feel good vibes through the computer... as we are all connecting from the heart,as we share from our homes reaching out to each other making life a little more enjoyable, and less painful...can you light a big roaring fire in your chimney, put on your favourite recors, cd's or bake a cake and eat it with a friend or your family..? if i was thre id help you eat it...lol

I probably should stop watching the news. That would help. Also I took a nice tranquilizer and now I feel better.

That must have been nervewracking! We rarely get really damaging tornados. We had one last year and then this one, but they aren't all that common. And overall I think I prefer hurricanes. At least you have lots of warning. It's upsetting to go to bed knowing nothing and wake up to the news.

i have tried to enter chat.... I CAN SEE YOU IN THERE RIGHT NOW...but it refuses to accept my password.
when i ask it to send me the forgotten password, it says 'reason you dont get the password sent to you is because you have not registered for chat...
thats crazy, as i have registered, i was chatting it it last week to you and others..!
so, just to humour the website, i try to register scentedgarden for chat, and guess what? it says, 'that username is already registered'!
how mad is that...lol

i saw on CBS news just now, and CNN that New Orleans had a tornado hit just before dawn... some people who were rebuilding their homes from the
katrina' have been hit again....said it was a ten mile strip of destruction....so , im very glad to hear you are safe..!!!!!
I also see that there is a huge blizzard in Chicago, and the university had to be closed down there first time in like a hundred yrs..
The U.S.A. sure has had more than its fair share of bad weather... It's happening all over the world though, floods, storms, landslides..the world weather is very extreme now isn't it..
