I like it too. I have felt the option at some points to move forward or to regress. Moving forward is a very scary thing, especially when the consequences are unknown.
I think that's one reason why I feel stronger lately, because I have a better sense of my own agency. I have the perception that I am steering my own life, rather than being crushed by the consequences of my poor decisions.
I'm printing this out for my T to read. He's the kind that's always ready to leap into some philosophical debate- not exactly the one to "baby" me, which my regressive llurpsie wants. More of a challenge, which is both empowering and scary.
