I was supposed to see her today, but I got a call in the morning saying she was sick.
I am thinking she has the swine flu. I hope she is OK.

Chances are, she doesn't have swine flu. But even if she does, it's no worse than regular flu for most people.
If she doesn't have other health problems, and she does have the flu of any sort, she'll be fine.
It would be nice if the messages they gave clients were more reassuring wouldn't it? Given that the population may include many people with anxiety disorders, something like "Dr. X has to cancel today because she's not feeling well. But it's nothing serious and she'll be back as soon as she can."
