in my head.
And I don't want him to know. We've been married for 5 years. He simply has no idea, as things weren't bad in my head for the first years of our marriage.
No one knows, really, except my best friend who died 3 months ago, or my therapist. Crazy.

What would happen if he did know?
My husband really couldn't take it for a long time. Recently he's gotten much better at listening without feeling like he needs to do something.
What does your therapist say about it?
I'm sorry about your friend.

My t (soon to be ex-t) had him in for a joint session. I could
barely speak, it was so terrirying. I kept snapping my fingers to indicate for her to stop because I couldn't talk. THAT was embarassing. But just to tonight, my dh confided that he thought he had been
s/a by his sister. This has opened up the door for me to talk
about my own s/a by my mom, in very general terms. My ultimate fear is that he'll leave me , think I'm horrible, disgusting , insane. But knowing he carries some of the same pain. .... That makes it seem easier.
This is the end of the thread.
