I won't go back over the awful job I just quit, I just want to tell you what's suddenly happened:
1. Greg delivered my resume to his company.
2. Two people my SO works with have come to him for my resume.
3. I've had a GREAT interview with a company up the road.
4. I got an email from a woman who met me briefly at my last job, asking for my resume and telling me how impressed she was with what I'd done there.
5. Today I got a call from some who hasn't yet quit her job with the same people I just left, thanking me for, in her words, 'being a real person and having limits'. She said that I inspired her, and thanked me for not letting them do that stuff to me!So, I guess that's the universe telling me I shouldn't be there, you think? It's weird, and it's kinda nice.
The interview today lasted 2 1/2 hours, and they had the right answers. Now we'll see if I did too!
OH!! And if this job doesn't offer what I need, I'll keep looking! Ain't that an improvement!

Racer, Thanks for sharing the incredible news! It really is like the Universe opening up a door after it shut a window!
It helps me a lot to see good things happen --sort of renews my faith.

Hi Racer - All I can initially say is WOW!!!!
What wonderful stuff to happen!! Way to go - I especially love when you tell about your interview that THEY had the right answers. Sounds like you're taking good care of yourself & yes, the universe obviously wanted you to move yourself out of such a soul-crushing situation.
Also #5 is very impressive & true. You've done something extremely important for lots of people. You've only heard from one so far, but my guess is that 'way more than one noticed & who knows how many lives you changed.
Your last sentence really says it as to the massive change in your attitude - WAY TO GO, Racer.
Hugs, Kath

Racer,
Great news, great attitude!!!
I'm sure something will come thru very quickly! You have an amazing wealth of friends and that should always be a source of strength for you. That you wanted the potential employer to give YOU the right answers is so important. I always do my homework on an employer and hope they do theirs on me as well.
Good luck and let me know when somthing happens.
