The reason I posted the thread is to hint at a situation where supportive responses were being titled with a negative connatation. I figured maybe people wasn't aware of this dilemma.
It is just awfully negative to be punishing oneself out of guilt, even in noncritical times.
I know that I tend to be overly serious and concise during crisis situations. That is something that I will stand as is.
