I dont want your world

Posted by dennis on January 15, 2001, at 22:13:39

I want to be free, I want to run careless in a field of green and flower, I dont want to see another person, my dog is all the companion I need, I dont want to know what money is, I dont want to know that theres a big city somewhere on this planet, I dont want to know restrictions and guidelines for living life, I dont want your fancy automobiles and electronic gadgets, I dont want your world, thanks but no thanks. I realized, its not that I dont want to live, I just dont want to live with you people. I require freedom and I dont have it. If only people could see what their lives are worth, if only they could see what life could really be. This world is not right, it is not my fault, there is nothing wrong with me, it is the worlds fault, it is my fellow mans fault for not seeing, for leting this happen. You people are already dead.

Dennis - Unfortunately, that is the difference between utopia and reality. Social isolation is never a good thing, unless you are self-sufficient and have a very strong constitution (but we all saw what that did for Ted Kaz.) Granted, that is an extreme example, but, to be satisfied and comfortable, we all need people; with all of their faults, wishes, hopes, and dreams. With friends, both cyber and real, I know that I am not dead. - Cam

Dennis-
You were just born a little late. There was a whole generation that felt the same way about "the establishment", and their mantra was to "tune in, turn on and drop out". Maybe you can start a new revolution.
Peace-
Gracie

I understand the feeling, but how can one live without money? Unfortunately, there are many practical constraints to living.
