Inner child work

For those of you interested in this subject, an excellent movie is "Disney's The Kid". Yes, it seems like a bit of (slightly stupid) fluff, but if you stick with it, you get a really vivid picture of exactly 'how' the children we were become the people we are.

WARNING: If you HATE to know anything at all about a movie before you see it,

A hint:

Bruce Willis' character's 'eye twitching' attacks are directly related to all the tears he was forbidden to cry.

Hi,
I saw this movie but didn't look at it from a psych stand- but that's an interesting way to view it. I don't really understand this 'inner child' concept- I am working on a lot of childhood issues (all difficult, horrible stuff), but I assume this is more about how your personality is shaped? Thanks, judy
