poem: Eating the Brains of the Dead.

i wrote this as a metaphor for treasonist and misdirected attempts at love and attention...

EATING THE BRAINS OF THE DEAD

how simple, a rock
made to smash asunder

how we skulked up from
behind, brained them
to be sure, in one
fell stroke

laid them,
stern to bow, tied
broken arms to
neck

submerged them in the
drink to batten, fed them
milk to choke

stole naught but
seconds, amorous though
that they were

from two thousand years
of roman history

we clobbered them whole
ground them to meal

winnowed out the
sinew from the marrow

split that cantalope
in tweien and drank
its milk

and sunk our ships
the very ones!

avast yea, lord jim!
scuttle this vessel, and
bring me an island
whore, posthaste!

while the breadfruit
waltzed its way
to shore

we the ripper
we the cad
we the treasonist
lot

we, the eaters of
the dead

we want to be your
last awful memory

riding our horses,
ass backwards,
out to sea

we the judas
we the wormwood
we the butus to
them all

walking dead, moreso
than our prey

while we marinate
them in the sun
and brine

to let their
bodies, and
their mourning
fatten.
