Ok,
Willow and I tried out the Open chat line today. I still can't believe I figured it out , it is pretty easy. Just click on Psycho-Babble Open below and follow the directions.
You will need to figure out your time, I need to go take a nap. FIgure someone will be there between 4 and 5 pacific time if not longer.
Good for short, mindless banter...

Why, I thought our banter was extremely cerebral! If I hadn't needed more toilet paper, we might have solved several world problems... ;)

it went great, Willow. I was laughing hysterically. I had a hard time registering, and was very dizzy when I entered the chat room and not active enough, sorry. then i got stressed out because i felt i had to perform some stand-up comedian routine and was terribly at loss with words. you guys are too good to be true:) you are amazing...
yes me body wants to do it again:) how about tonight?

For myself it will have to be later, say around 10 pm eastern. I like to sit back and listen sometimes. It's nice for me to chat with you guys too. We should post a message on the med board to see if we can get any bites. I'm not sure how I got into it, wasn't as easy as 1-2-3. If you can remember maybe you can write down the directions?

> Willowyes, for me it is this time too. there is no way I'll remember the process, except that I just followed the instructions. it is all hazy, my screen name got rejected like 40 times because I was reluctant to use numbers and wanted something meaningful in english. then I got fed up and came up with you know what < chuckle >. after that it was easy.

...starting your own group on Yahoo? It can be a lot of fun. I started one about a year ago and it's been very successful and a great source of support for me. After you get it set up, it's really not much work. You might like it.

Would not the babble group be the same? We really could use a male voice to keep us women in check.

That didn't come out right - I'm very tired right now. I blame it all on the Prozac.

you know how it gets when u just keep talking without thinking so many thoughts racing u pick one at random +what often happens is u may say wrong think changing subjects dramatically etc the last time i got xtreme said things 2 friend real crude insultive and alot of bullcrap so now know pattern + try and keep verbal distance. ok now cause have no external stimuli here on own.Its like a kindof tourettes snydrome just blurt things out.
Well this has 2 be used positively and need to get career moving again so i'd better get something done.
this place holds alot of sensitive souls and dont deserve my present mood.

Dreamer
I can understand wanting to do something else and how this can cut into the time. No Problem! But don't worry about comments, we've all been diagnosed with foot in mouth. If by chance someone's feelings are hurt by a poster they can always choose to hit the ignore so and so button.
And I'm sure one of your cyber bodies would be quick to your defense. It's not like god will be watching over us!
Whenever you're ready come spice things up if you desire, or just sit back and enjoy the chat.

uh, hopefully nobody will feel like any comment that was made was taken the wrong way... i would hate for anyone to be discluded out of their own inhibitions about the public performance of meandering banter...the more the merrier, the more i mary her, see more, i marred her, more i see, the more i like, like throwing rocks in the ocean...
