I'm not so concerned about weekends every day is friday.
I hear drunken revelries outside .My rare early morning walks reveal the post party enthusiasm rubbish/paper broken bottles. People lost or sleeping on night buses.
A rebellious release from a 9-5, a prowling through bars and clubs looking for sex or love.
A friend my only closest friend is-a -glowing with exitement to meet his love and i feel so happy for him even though he was my post- 5 year relationship.
I ask him how does it feel to be in love.He smiles I say if it happened to me i'd be so manically high on top of the world.
I feel no jelousy no loneliness just a feeling of outside-ness an outsider looking in trying to imagine how it feels if i were in their shoes.

.You think that's bad? I still have dreams about a love that was lost in 1984! A once-in-a-lifetime she's for me match. That girl would have been all I ever wanted in a woman. I wonder, where is she now? Who did she marry? Is she happy? What if I had not failed the test? True, I would not have my beautiful 6 year old daughter (for whom I would lie down in front of a train for). Is that worth not having the OTHER love of my life? Is what I want really what's important, or is it what I do to improve the condition of other lives I touch? How many of us suffer untold ignominies to keep those we love safe? Robert Frost, where go ye now?

And it's a good thing it wasn't Emelda Marcos who reportedly had 5,000 pairs.
Would anyone want to be in her shoes?
Literally?
Figuratively?
I never imagine such things since mine fit so comfortably.
Stop!
I didn't say "perfectly," since nothing ever is.
But for my needs and what I'm used to, I have a good fit.
Stop!
But it's not for everyone.
Peace, my dear.

"Uh, Uh! No tongues!"
(homage to the late Madeline Kahn in "Young Frankenstein")More homage to Madeline Kahn:
(After a roll in "ze hay" with the monster) "You men are all alike ... seven or eight quick ones and then you're off with the boys ... YA BETTER KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT! (a soft sigh) I think I love him...""Love"? Quite frankly, I prefer Mel Brooks.
