? for Akc

Did I hear you say that you were an attorney? Can I be so bold as to ask from which state? I was just kind of suprised when I read that post.

ANY OTHER ATTORNEYS ON HERE? Hee... I think we all know my background by now. Don't answer if you'd rather not.

I am licensed in Missouri and Kansas. But I don't know much about either state's law -- just what little I remember from studying for the bar. I practice in the employee benefit arena -- so I specialize in mainly ERISA and a slice of the federal tax code. Talk about about specializing! Anyone need me to draft a benefit plan document?

Mair......

I'm just a cocktail waitress in las vegas. But I have had quite a lot of contact with lawyers. I'm not sure if you've followed any of my threads with the malpractice suit I have going? If not, to make a long story short.... a doctor left a towel sized spongue in my chest and its been there for 4 years. It was undetactable to any x-rays.... an illegal type of cloth. I had my 18th surgery this past tuesday.... trying to get it all out.... fighting infections in my bones, repairing my sternum, etc.
I have a great attorney. I have also said in an above thread that her insurance co. offered me 1.1 million... but we didn't settle for that. I now am permanately disfigured(luckily it can be covered up.)
Anyway.... I was just kind of wondering what type of attorney akc was..... ya know.... for back up, see if my lawyers on the right track.
Gosh.... I'm going on and on.... sorry.... more info than you probably want to know. Kristi

Really? Where at?

> is reconstructive surgery possible?

Not yet. Years down the road possibly. There are still parts of this cloth stuck to my sternum and muscle. They can't cut them off without cutting those areas. I've also lost ALOT of breast tissue in the process. Who knows.... if we become a little closer... I'll send ya some pictures..... :-) Right now...I just don't have enough breast tissue to work with.

strip clubs in san antonio and austin (lucrative, but i don't know if i could do it again. i tried waiting tables at a regular restaurant when i was 18 and the customers lodged numerous complaints. at strip clubs i could accidentally drop beer bottles on men's heads and they'd be like, "that's awright, baby!" heh heh--i preferred the more laidback aspect...but strip clubs make me sad now, plus my TABC license ran out years ago..

i hope so. i am so sorry, kristi....what was the beginning of this surgery? were you getting a tumor removed, getting implants....? i hope the health-care system improves quickly enough to fix you up the right way. can they fix you up with saline/silicone, etc? or are you still lacking enough breast tissue to do that? i'm sorry, i don't know much about this. i've always felt self-conscious because my left breast is larger than my right...but that's small potatoes compared to this...have you consulted the best surgeons? with a few mill in yr pocket, could this be fixed?

caringly,
sar
