As I am currently floating around at the moment, I thought I would really sit down and think about the WTC thing. (i.e. I can Take it). This all started around 11am when there was the three min. silence in the uk.I have a habit of being blank to statistical deaths. I looked at the pictures in cnn, Finaly its hit me this is sad. my thoughts go out to the familys of those killed on both sides, (more to the non-terrorists as there familys know it was not there desision to die). I wonder how far this will go. A muslim I know was kinda hissed at on the bus home, and the cnn vote show 70% support for bombing kabul if Bin liner isnt given up. I hope this doesn't happen. there has been to much death, settling the score is the lowest form of spiritual peace you can get from death.
Just my thoughts

Bush has stated he will rid the world of evil -- if only that could really happen.I know as a nation we will respond with more death and more destruction. And more innocent people will die. It tears me up. Wouldn't it be the ultimate response if we responded with food and clothing and housing and aid? I'm sure many here are going to just hate my pacifist soul. But killing someone else's mother or sister or child is only going to continue the cycle of hate. Especially in a part of the world where so many have so little. I cannot understand how anyone can hate so much to do what has happened. It is beyond my comprehension to think that a person's belief in a God would lead them to do such a thing. But I cannot believe that killing a lot more people is going to make that hate for us go away.

akc,
all props. young bush-boy as new prez frightens me. i'm a pacifist, i wish we'd do good instead of retaliate. i want to specifically punish the bastards directly responsible for this crisis, but the innocents?...no...no..
what can we do? what do most americans want? how can we reconcile this terrible loss?
just questions
