My favorite book title is The Man With No Endorphins by James Gorman. I am the woman with no endorphins, so that's why that title appealed to me.

I loved that book !

Sort of makes the book store owner paranoid.
Another good one: "Ignore this Post," by Kazoo.

A confederacy of dunces is one of my all time favorites. Ever since I read it about 20 years ago I've longed to write letters which start out something like "dear mongoloid idiot" and I frequently drift back to the image of Miss Trixie padding around the work place in her pajamas.
What a shame he only wrote one.

I can't remember the author's name but I know he commited suicide.
He was very talented, judging by the book.

Wonderful, funny book. I got it in about 1977 as much for the title as anything else; it's an oldie, like its owner.

Really cool stuff about Eastern Orthodox Christianity, partying late at nite, epilepsy, mania.

Ritch - I loved it! The protagonist is anything but an idiot. He justs sits back and takes it all in.

Hi Cam, it's good that you are back. That was my favorite Dostoyevsky novel. The Brothers K is his *best*, but I found the Idiot a lot more interesting. The late-nite party scene where some guy gives this lengthy speech about existence, why are we here, etc., was a mind-blower.Mitch
