A survey from Lou

Posted by Lou Pilder on April 7, 2002, at 8:03:25

Friends;
Read the following and answer the questions afterwards and I will return the data to you in an interesting way. This is in keeping with the rules of this board and there has been no well-defined rules for surveys yet, so if this survey shows some new rules for surveys, then good.But I can not be sanctioned in any way at all for this survey untill new rules for surveys are posted by the administration. It has already been stated by the administrration that a survey does not constitute "pressure" because the administration has deemed surveys to be "voluntary".

"And it shall come to pass afterward
That I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions,
I will pour out my spirit in those days.
And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth:
Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the comming of the great and awsome day of the Lord.
And it shall come to pass
That whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord
Shall be saved."

What number are you?
1)married and believe that there will be a "Day of the Lord"
2)married and believe that there is no Lord.
3)On welfare and believe that there is a Lord but only people that belong to a spacific group will be saved.
4)Spouse works and believe that all people that "call upon the name of the Lord" will be saved no matter what group, or no group, they belong to.
5)Disabled and believe in Greek Mythology.
6)Rich and believe that someone can see visions.
7)Poor and do not believe that someone can see visions.
8)Working and believe that the "day of the Lord" is near.
9)Single and believe that the"Day of the Lord" is far away.
10) Some other belief that I deem to be private.
11) Some other belief that I will share wih the board now.
Lou

It's an old rule, however, not to be sarcastic...

Friends;
I really did not intend for my survey to be sarcastic. However, after reviewing the survey, it could be construed to be so even though it was not my intention.
Nevertheless, since the suvey could possibly be so, I am asking that you do not respond to the survey and allow it to acquiess. For those that want to discuss any part of the survey, they can email me or they could start hie own survey.
Sincerely,
Lou

What is the big deal?

I don't see why the survey thing is such a big deal that it keeps going on and on. I saw the original survey, took it lightheartedly, like the
ones in women's mags, and wouldn't have given it another thought. If it had contained info I didn't want to share I wouldn't have answered it.
No problem.

I also think surveys are fairly rare here, so their frequency doesn't warrant all this.
