I could swear that it was you who said you wrote a newsletter for a tea company and explained the differences between green and black teas, but you have also indicated that you're a teacher ... do you do both perhaps, or are you not the one who writes the newsletter for a tea company? Thanks!

Beardy - holy cow, so you ARE the one who writes a tea newsletter plus being a college English professor, a graphic designer, a writer (poetry, advertising copy, collateral, fiction, non-fiction), a masochist - LOL! - a wife, and a mommy.
Not to mention that you wake up early in the am to go jogging, you meditate and you take B vitamins!
Are you a FREE-LANCE writer?
And what is COLLATERAL writing? Never heard of this.
Gee, I admired you BEFORE I knew all this - now I have you up on a pedestal! I can't juggle a fraction of what you do and I'm single, no kids! I can barely take care of myself. :-(

sick. Don't worry. I only do all those things because I can't make enough money to live doing just one of them! (That's because I don't want to work for anyone else.)
But here's something to envy: my daughter has had a terrible cold and spends lots of time crying; yesterday, I lost a two-month gig that payed $19,000; I got an "almost" rejection letter from a top literary magazine (as in "this poem almost made it"); and Friday I'm having a colonoscopy and an endoscopy.
If I say this has been a sh***y week, I wouldn't be exaggerating!
I think I'm going to go eat a couple of donuts before the great cleanse.

P.S. Collateral is brochures and such. I am not quite a freelance writer, but I suppose I am when I write for magazines. I have a business that's incorporated.
