You think just fine. We had a difference of opinion, but there's no need to feel like you made a mistake. Lots of people get triggered by certain words, and there's no telling who will respond to what. Often, though, it's a personal thing, rather than a group thing. (The group things are much tougher to get away with!) If explaining what I meant helped you feel more comfortable with the word in that context, great. No apology is necessary, but thanks for acknowledging the post.
(I almost missed your message, as there was no "new" indicator, so when I saw you on PPB, I went back to admin.)
And thanks for that great site. I'll look more carefully later.
