there is an approach to PMS, that you chart experiences during the months, so you get an idea of what to expect. Then, during the last two weeks, you progressively pamper yourself. For me this was an insight: Not to expect to every day of every month to have the constant high expectations. I eventually got to marking the next month on the calendar, not scheduling intense things during the third and particularly the fourth week. Usually a day of extreme fatigue would signal the last day of my cycle. I eventually got the message: Take that day off, stay in bed, relax, do nice things for my self.

I have found that if I eat high quality chocolate (the good stuff, Godiva, etc. that it helps smooth out my mood and perk me up. Not quite sure how healthy it is though, lol!
