THanks Y'all! I did have a pretty good one....although
I made the mistake of renting a DEPRESSING documentary
on schizophrenia!! But after that I went to the gym and
worked out like a banshee and sweated and grooved to my
walkman...then a friend made me a really nice dinner and we
drank wine, smoked a few cigerettes, had deep, compelling
conversation...came home and there was a present on my doorstep
from another friend--the new Bruce Springstein CD (yay!) and
a chocolate cupcake (yay!)....So I felt loved...
The only thing that was missing, Ted, was some flirting! Man,
do I miss that. I work alone, basically, don't have any coworkers
and the few that I do have are women...the workplace used to be
a nice safe place for flirtation...I need another job...Thanks again for the birthday wishes, y'all!

I am so mad at myself. For two weeks (or so), from when you posted that your bday was the 28th on my bday thread... I have kept this post it note on my computer that says "ROO's Bday - Aug.28" and it's bright blue. Then yesterday I didn't even get on PSB - went to our "big city" an hour away to help my aunt pack. I get online today and found I've missed it!!! Please know that I have thought about your happy birthday wishes for two weeks - everytime I get on my 'puter! Grrr--mad at self! Glad you had a good time though. I'm taking my posty note down now. :(
