I just don't understand the posters who deliberately write in a vindictive fashion- are they that alone that they have to start wars in cyberspace? Any input appreciated- judy

I'm neither, but I write strong posts in response to vindictive posters sometimes... Is that wrong? :)
I can relate to such posters in a way. I mean, a part of me likes to bother people just for the hell of it but I think that's the bipolar in me! After all, I am a little loonie! And I feel right at home in this bin of ours ;-)
I sure hope no one thinks I'm a vindictive poster or anything, I just meant that I could relate in a way...

p.s. hmmm.... maybe an anti-psychotic would help me? I hear they're great for the "fuzzy" thinking for those of us with cream doughnut filling for brains ;-)

judy1,
That could be read as jumping to conslusions about others....
As Doc B puts it: Please respect the views of others even if you think they're wrong. Please be sensitive to their feelings even if they hurt yours. Different points of view are fine, and in fact encouraged........jump to conclusions about others or their experiences, post anything that could lead others to feel accused or put down, pressure others, use language that could offend others, exaggerate or overgeneralize -- et cetera.
kindly,

here? on the social board? or in general?
I can have quite the poison pen at times. It depends on the situation. And I'm +not+ freed by the relative anonymity of cyberspace - I'm just as much of a bi+ch IRL.

I felt I was being extremely general in my question and I was certainly not pointing to any poster in particular. I guess I was trying to understand the huge difference in styles of posting- the supportive ones, the normal questions, and the plainly vindictive ones. But I can see I'm not going to get an answer so I'll follow Dinah's advice and withdraw- judy
