Can't be so easy to create, if it was they'd sell it. I'd just get in line at Club Fun, pay my $12 cover, and there it would be. But there is no Club Fun.
I looked for fun on google, and up popped an educational site for children. Grammar Gorillas. Whoo-boy, now that's fun.

I tried searching for relevance on Google once, when I was unemployed. In addition to evaluations of Adam Smith and Marxism, you get a guide to how to rank search results by relevance. The idea of ranking things by their relevance to relevance made my head spin in a sort of pleasant way and I succeeded in forgetting my original quest.I guess the moral is, Sometimes Google is fun by itself...

LOL. If you only knew the things I've put into Google. Often the really odd phrases turn out to be names of rock bands. But that solitary wiling away the hours sort of fun just isn't enough lately. I need Big Big fun.
(naturally I modified my Google query from fun to Need Big Fun, and now I get a site called "Boogie Jack's Free Graphics and HTML Tutorials". this proves conclusively that the WWW is not the place to look for fun.)

I went skiing a few years ago and, not being raised around snow or mountains, sucked at it.
I water skiied once and sucked at that too. Both activities carried a certain amount of fear and embarrassment but I had to concentrate on trying to do them. With practice, I'm sure I could be below average! haha
With all that going on in my brain, I didn't think of depression. I guess the key to fun is doing something that makes you focus on other things.
A guy at work told me a joke about skydiving. Someone wrote an instructional book on the subject but had to later publish a correction.

...if you can call it fun. I do.
O mighty Destroyer of Pulmonata, you need to try slightly different wording for your searches. Typing in variations on fun is not enough - you need to include a defining phrase such as "how to". You'd be amazed what you'd come up with.
Whenever I need more info on fixing or repairing or doing anything for myself that I'm not knowledgable enough about, I do a search with "how to" in it. "how to" "toilet repairs" - voila! a fix-it-yourself site. So try typing in "how to have fun" & go from there.
Another poster tried it & got How To Have Fun In A Wheelchair http://glensfallsdisabled.freehomepage.com/omegatrac/index.htm & asked if I'd send it along.
Want to try to identify those bothersome snails & slugs in your garden? Try http://scan.nmgw.ac.uk/snailchart.en.shtml for the Snail Chart.
I love Homestar Runner (he of Fluffy Marshmallow fame)
http://www.homestarrunner.com/toons.htmlVideos? Try http://www.hypnotic.com/ & under Channels menu at the very top of the page (hard to notice)
& if you pick Comedy or Animation from the selections, you'll get some great short videos to watch.Another favourite (I don't know how many times I've seen it) is *****Tenacious D*****'s video of them performing their song
'Tribute' at http://www.tenaciousd.com/video/tributefullvid_300.asx
Unfortunately, it's now become well known & is very popular so it's difficult to link onto the server to see it. But if you can, it's a absolute MUST!!
Their Wonder Boy is pretty good too. http://www.tenaciousd.com/video/wonderboyfullvid_300.asx
Try connecting during an off-time like the dead of night when the server isn't so busy. I promise you won't regret watching it.I got a laugh out of Despair.com FAQ - as they say
"There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots."
http://www.despair.com/despairfaq.htmlSomething a little sweeter (okay, I'm a sucker for cats) is the Cat Humour Page:
http://allcatz.tripod.com/page/CatHumor.htmHow about Cap'n Wacky's Boatload of Fun?
http://www.capnwacky.com/ - another favourite of mine. How about signs in other countires that mangle the English language, resulting in some pretty hilarious meanings? Then check out
www.engrish.com & select from the menu on the left to see pix of these products.
Under Engrish drinks is a coffee drink called BM.
Or under Apparel is a T-shirt that says "I hate myself & want to die" decorated with hearts & rainbows.Enough fun yet?

Sometimes pets and small children are good sources of actual fun. If I'm really down, I get jealous/bitter, but if I'm just bored I enjoy their ridiculousness.I say this as our dumb cat stares up blankly at me from the lap of a giant stuffed gorilla. He has no idea how silly he looks.

Again, I know you're looking for *real* fun, but I'll share a web source of goofiness that usually works for me:Ratings section especially recommended.

to laugh uproariously, dance to heartpoundingly loud music, drink tequila, and get laid. And maybe set some stuff on fire.
