More of the same. My craving for fun has died. Weather is cool, it feels like fall. Now I'm just like everyone, functioning. Functioning. Functioning joylessly. Going thru motions out of habit & fear.

Hey, I'm over in Rut 88. Have you tried a light box or are you too poor like me?

Is Rut 88 full of dustbunnies and moldy coffeecups too? Have thought about a lightbox, but figured it would become just another $300 gadget that gets used for 2 weeks then discarded, then sits there for years while I think I really should sell it on Ebay.

I can empathize. There's days that I feel like I've truly morphed into Winston Smith, the guy in the book "1984". (That was his name, wasn't it?) But remember, Tabitha, that form follows function...your form will come.

That Winston Smith guy, didn't some excitement finally come his way? Or did his eyes get eaten by rats. I can't remember. Either way, something finally happened.
If form follows function, I'd be... a brain on a tray with a pair of eyes and two little typing hands, 'cause of all the time spent on the PC (I'm a programmer and a web junkie). And I guess I'd need a butt to sit on, too. Perhaps in the future that's what we'll all look like anyway.

I believe he got laid, then narrowly escaped having his eyes eaten by rats. Now, psych board notwithstanding, I think it would behoove us all NOT to read into THAT too much.
