We all have weaknesses
My disease again reminds me today
I've got you by balls my friend
You don't even try to get away.I'll find the love in you
And turn your heart to stone
I'll find the child that laughed in you
And put her in darkness, alone.I'll take away what you value most
HUH, You seem to me the type to give
So I'll snuff out your generosity
Until you have to beg to live.I've got you at the bottom of your game
Your enemies laugh with glee
I can do this to anyone I choose
And once I've got you, you're me!Right you are, I weakly said
Pushing hard on the darkness in me
But I've got an ace in the hole
The winning hand up my sleeve. He roared with laughter as he asked
And you are the one to challenge me?
I can't fight you anymore, I said
But my spirit will with ease.I heard laughter but it began to fade
The darkness turned to dawn
I walked outside, the sun reflected
Tears of joy..and a spirit so strong. If you see the darkness coming
And all you can see is death
Know that your spirit is strong
And getting stronger with each new breath.Never, ever give up.
