I spent the days prior to Christmas feeling guily about not seeing my family and ended up breaking down Christmas Day at my in-laws. My breakdown package: binge eating, crying, in bed sleeping or staring into space wanting to die.

My poor husband. I don't know how he puts up with me. I just couldn't stand being away from my home, my pets and all that socializing was just too much for me.

My favorite Chirstmas, as an adult, was a couple of years ago, when my husband and his kids went and I stayed home alone.

I think your husband and his kids would be doing you a huge favour if they just left you

What an unbelievably insensitive thing to say! I thought this board was supposed to be supportive. What, were you high Mr. Cushing?

(sorry to everyone else, I just can't stand to see someone mistreated)
