Sorry, Nikki, and all. I just suddenly got tired of trying to see the best in everyone and balance on the teeter totter of supporting one while not being unsupportive to another.
So I threw in the towel and went to bed. A nice nap helped, and I'm feeling a bit stronger now.
Still, I think I'll take a wee break from conflict.

I don't post much. Too afraid to. But, I do follow the threads and want you to know how much your posts are appreciated. Some days are just worse than others. See, even posting that makes my heart race wondering if that will be taken a wrong way.
I guess I'm just trying to say how much I admire you being you on this board. Hang in there.

Dinah-maybe you should take a break from your deputy post.
As for me, I have been trying to stay out of the conflicts. I don't even read threads that I think are getting into it. That is just what I gotta do for myself, ya know?
There is a lot of other stuff here to read. And you have enough stress of your own, no?

Thanks Nikki. I enjoy this place and the people so much. But walking a tightrope is stressful.
I'll be back to being optimistic and say that perhaps it won't be necessary. Hope springs eternal... :)

I certainly understand that we have to do what is best for each of us. My own peculiar makeup makes me far more anxious when I stay out of things. A warring family that allowed me to be the peacemaker, and on from there.
My therapist is trying to work with me on that one, but I'm a tough nut to crack. :)
