Well... having been off work for two years now sick, I have been thinking of returning.. but I was hoping for part time work, and really wanted to do IT helpdesk stuff..
yesterday, my husbands guild in his online game had a real life meet up, and I got chatting with one of the guys... I asked what he did for aliving, and when he told me I said, "cool, thats just what I want to do, want to employ me??!".. and his rpely was "well, we do have a vacancy"!!
Just got back form meeting him tonight to chat further, and I have an interview!!! Its such the perfect job.. only 3 days a week (but paying more than I was eanring full time!) and on an IT helpdesk for a large company with good "extras" like health insurance etc!!
I'm so excited!!! Wish me luck.. don;t have a date for the interview yet... but next two weeks hopefully :o)

Ooooh! You've got a wonderful job. And think of the fun you can have with people who aren't computer savvy - stringing them along. *_^
If it's a gamer's thing, though, I can't imagine many wouldn't be computer savvy. Lovely job, time periods, & benefits. Do they want to hire me too? I'll tell them how to grow plants.

That's great news Nikki.
In the few years in which I've been reading your posts, it seems like you've gotten so much more content and happy with things--people, life. I've been thinking about that for a while now.
