Krissy,

Please give a little more information as to which area you are looking for a facility in. You will probably get some responses by being more specific.

Have you asked your doctor for recommendations? The facility I was in was recommended by my (physical) doctor. It was a great place. They did all kinds of classes and groups to teach rather than just being a rest.

Let us know where you need info on. We will help if we can.

Mainly, I am looking for a facility that is pretty low keyed, meaning no acute patients, major druggies, etc. My depression is with teenagers with problems, unsupportive husband, low self esteem, etc. Cost is not an issue. I have learned with dealing with my daughter, that Dr's are not much help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Well, I am in the Milwaukee area. There is a hospital by the name of Aurora Psychiatric Hospital. You may want to check out their website. They are located in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. They have a great program. I am not sure what kind of problems you need to get help with, but they may have what you are looking for. The facility focuses on more than just doctors and medication. They actually have classes and groups in an attept to create coping and life skills. I hope this helps. Good luck to you.
