Say thats mighty big, especially if they're as big as my cat. Is that because the pied piper sneakily charmed them out of Ireland to England and only the strongest survived the journey, so they are especially large in England? Do you think that could be true?
Or was it the Pied Piper who took the snakes out of Ireland. Oh no that was St. Patrick.Oh and Dreamerz remember the plural of mouse
is meecies not micies, maybe its different in England though.

They are, I think, of course coolness is purely subjective. They have a skeleton closer to that of a human than any other animal.
They do fly in a spooky way though.
The park near my house was full of them, I loved
to just come out at about 7pm in the summer and watch them.

I must admit that they are scientificly interesting and , uggg, neat to look at but nothing seems so frightning as finding them when on a quite hike in the woods. Then again, their behavior is not that different then mine when I panic.

I think they are cute.
Little cheeky faces
Is it an urban myth or can they dive into your hair?

So when you panic, you hang upside down by your feet and wrap your wings around yourself? Or crash into the necks of sleeping cattle and drink their blood? Yeah, me too.
Once a bat got into my apartment and my roommate's de-clawed cat leapt into the air and brought it down. Now that was an exciting evening.

I would not do that well with the cattle as I am a vegetarian, but hugging self with wings might be a welcome change from my blanky.

oh yea, that is a urban myth it is said. They may hit your head as their radar is not perfect but will be as scared as you and just try to get out.

We could be fruit bats, I'm a vegetarian too.
Hugging oneself with wings, thats an idea.
If they were very flexible wings, otherwise it might be awkward and not quite so comforting, and make it difficult to reach for things.
I suppose one could get used to them though.
Handier in the rain than a blanket.

Espcially now that the wings are made of Gore-Tex and have a soft fleece lining. Wait, I think I can fly.....
