Although I don't think she's stood up for me when I was being stupid. I've had friends do that for me before, though and I think its a gift far more people should develop in themselves.
But maybe I'm biased.

I forgot we are all Canadians too,
It seems to me that Canadians seem to be more irreverent about things than Americans,
about politics and other sacred issues, its not a judgement at all, just an observation and maybe not even a correct one.

Musings aside, I'm glad that made you feel good Tina
(( JYL TINA))
Oh and yes I did mean more people should develop the ability to defend me when I'm stupid.

I'm glad we can all get along even when we have differing opinions about things. I've been told off before by people on this board only to have them say nice things about me months later. It's so great we can do that. I find that the canadians are a bit more irreverent about some things Gabster. I don't go nutty about politics or religion or other 'deep' subjects. I just say "ok, you have your opinion, no problem" and leave it at that. Sometimes I voice MY opinion too and I guess I expect others to take it the same way I take theirs, with a grain of salt, but that doesn't always happen. I find it does more often with fellow canadians though. Maybe we are just all cut from the same cloth......a red and white cotton with a maple leaf on it. hehehaha
People are just people, ya know?
love ya
