That is really interesting. I mean that in all sincerity, its really interesting. Its making me think. I like thinking.
One of my favorite things
that my ex broke accidentally was a small shoe covered in red glitter. I keep looking for another but I can't find one

a man broke your small red glittery shoe? Now there was bad omen.

Once a friend broke my number 13 welders filter that I had purchased at an industrial supply company especially for safe viewing of a solar eclipse. our relationship soured from that point. What can I say? I just get attached to things, especially odd and unique things. And he didn't even volunteer to replace it! Oh, the burn. Every time there's an eclipse I miss it.

Its true, he broke all but one of my favorite little things, and yet they were all as you said "oddball" things, and not expensive so he never would have known they were favorites, and it was always an accident.
He ended up being a terrible abuser, though he wasn't at that time. I don't claim to know how the universe works, but I can't help but think it was trying to tell me something early on.

Ha! I hear this from you at least every other day. "Kar, this is how the universe works..." blah blah blah
I really don't know what to think anymore. Waitaminute! You said you don't "claim" to know...maybe you just THINK you know or KNOW you know.
Cuz you're like that.
You know.

Rhinestones in my eyes can make me cry...

Well I really do hate to sound condescending T, but it burns because you're not supposed to be staring at the sun without the glasses.
Come on, now!

I release this thread to the irrepressible energy of silliness! I'll find somewhere else to talk about artistic impulses. But I thought someone posted an idea of a faux marble thing surrounded by male dolls of various races, making offerings. Now I can't find that post. Did I dream it?

It's a great notion.. since the dolls are small and we are large, we'd feel like a goddess with the tiny worshippers at our feet.

I told my therp this idea (well about the lamps actually, with the male dolls making offerings) and said I'd feel like their princess. And she looked at me quizzically and said 'their princess'? Like there was something odd or unhealthy about craving a little worship. Or did I misinterpret?

Oh, I said I'd give up on this thread, but here I am, going on and on...

Oh no, did I shame you into apologizing? I hope not. If it weren't for you and Kar the topic probably would have died from lack of interest anyway. I still love you. Kar too.

Group hug?

Tabitha,
You are one interesting person. Certainly in touch with your inner.... inner something. :) Think I'll do a search for all your posts.
Impressed,

> I wandered thru the craft store for an hour or so, and got some odd stuff that just HAD to go together. In the doll aisle, I got this 15 inch 'native american man' doll. His features are totally caucasian, but he's brownish and has long luxurious black hair, a suede-like loincloth, and a kit to make beaded jewelry. He now sports a pair of bunny slippers, also from the doll aisle. He's dreamy.

Gosh, I'm blushing.

Inner.. 'something' is right. I'm in high spirits lately, just hoping it's not another moodswing. Well it is, but doesn't feel like a dangerous one.

It's fun to look up a person's whole set of posts isn't it? Like reading their journal. I know I did that for some posters.. but I'd be too shy to tell them!

Yeah, group hug, please..

Thanks Tabitha :)

I accidentally typed in the subject 'grope' hug
gee, I wonder if that was a freudian typo : 0

P.S

Kar started it!!!

I think this thread deserves an award for being the most eclectic.

Don't worry tabi, the first few weeks without groping (gee, I'm serious I did it again, I typed groin) I wonder if there is something to this freudian typo business. Yesterday I meant to end an email with xox and instead typed sos.

Anyway.. what I was going to say was.. the first few weeks without groping are the hardest, and then, and then, it becomes a distant memory, something you think only other people have.

Did that cheer you up! I'm kidding of course.

I'm projecting, its the way I'm feeling. Internet dating is kind of fun, even if you never meet anybody, its kind of a good way to take your mind off things.

I love the SOS.

The first bill I got from my new therapist included the annotation "Pain in full".

Yes, you can freudianly type!

[The bill was typed by someone else]

Come out of the closet!
Hello-o-o-o?
I'm looking for names here.
Post away.
God, at this point in the thread I don't know if I'd want to hop in. What's left to say.
Nothing, but I feel the need anyway.

It's the Reisling talking.

I typed groin
Ouch
Groins loins...Am I going to have the morning after syndrome when I read this tomorrow?
I'll stop.
I'm not hypo. Just a little tipsy doodle.

I love him! Those bunny slippers are priceless.
Thanks for inspiring my creativity. Whenever I get
paid, I think I'm off to the craft store to make my
own creations. I'd like to see the dashboard goddess
too. There are people that live around here that funkify
their whole cars like that. One woman drives around with
all these dressed up manikans in her car.

Yes, Crap Circles was my favorite too. I'm forwarding
that link to many friends.

I love the mannikins idea. I've seen in mail order catalogs this car-pool dummy thing. It's basically a lifelike human male, with a 5 oclock shadow and a baseball cap. If I remember right the economy model didn't have any legs. The idea wasn't for fun-- it was to let you drive illegally in the carpool lane. But that would be fun itself.

Roo do you know about the BurningMan festival coming up in a few weeks? It's a whole funkified city in the desert-- everywhere you look some crazy art, constructions, vehicles, costumes, interactive games, etc etc. An incredible feast for the eyes, mind, body, and spirit. Here's the official website... http://www.burningman.com
