why does this bother me?

Okay - so I know *approximately* (meaning, I haven't driven by there or anything) where my therapist lives - why is it that my roommate is moving *right down the road* from her???

And WHY does this bother me so much????

Not that my roommate would know her if she saw her or anything.

!!!!!!!!

One more week, folks. Moving on Sat., Sept. 27 into my own place. Thank goodness.

Though I must say, things have been much less tense between us the past few days.

Well, if it were MY roommate and My therapist:

They might meet and end up being friends (which is what I would secretly hoping for with my therapist), and then they might talk about me.

I might want to visit your friend, but feel uncomfortable because my therapist lives near by

I might want to do a drive-by of my therapist's house and be afraid that my roommate might see me.

Does your roommate know that she is moving close to your therapist? If she doesn't, I wouldn't tell her.

One week!!! That is really wonderful. You deserve some peace and quiet.

Not likely - my roommate is a good 25 years younger than my therapist, they have NOTHING in common, PLUS my therapist knows all about her (name, etc.), which I think would make it even less likely that she would ever become friends with her, and I'm sure she would never discuss me with anyone. There would be a definite conflict of interest there and my T probably feels her first loyalty is to me (I would hope).

But that would be HORRIBLE. Can you imagine???? If your T didn't know it was a friend of yours??? !!!!!!!!

This is a possibility...at least I don't have to pass my T's house to get to my roommate's house! I know what kind of car she drives, so it would be too easy to spot (unless she parks in a garage, of course). That would be really strange...

Trying to not go there - afraid my therapist might see me - she knows what kind of car I drive. Plus, I don't have that same *need* that I did with my former therapist.

Oh no! I won't tell her - that is NOT what I need. My T called yesterday (to cancel our appointment due to Isabel) and my roommate answered the phone and said, "May I ask who is calling?" and my T said, "I need to speak with her about an appointment." Didn't even tell her what her name was or anything.

Yes. I'm so ready. If only the money issue weren't so stressful.
