Paxil, Prozac, Withdrawing and Pregnancy!

Hi all

I posted the other day but for some reason my post didn't make it on to the board.

A summary of my situation is that I am three months pregnant, have been takein Paxil for three years and have been prescribed Prozac to assist in withdrawing from Paxil.

I took my last Paxil on Tuesday and have instead been taking 5ml of Prozac each night. I have not experienced any of my usual Paxil withdrawls.

My questions are:
* Has anyone used Prozac to get off Paxil?
* Was Prozac just as hard to withdraw from?
* Has anyone here withdrawn while pregnant?

Any advice would be great. At the moment I am so over the moon about getting off the Paxil but I worry that the Prozac may be just as bad!

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi, no I'm not pregnant and not on medication. But I do know that Prozac is no good for taking while pregnant. You should check the side-effects of Prozac on the pharmaceutical information guidelines for more details otherwise consult your medical doctor.
