I would like to know more about prodromal schizophrenia. How do you know if you have it? What does it "feel" like?
Thanks!

the only thing I know about it is that it's the period of time when only some symptoms are present of schizophrenia before a full-blown case is diagnosed. It tends to hit in the early 20s, and it's usually 'negative' symptoms- a flattening of affect, isolating oneself, perhaps some paranoia. usually is doesn't include the delusions or hallucinations present in a diagnosed case of schizophrenia. I've read it can last for months or even a year(s). Do you know someone who is experiencing this, or yourself? Normally that's something a shrink or therapist would diagnose.
take care, judy
