ode to larry hoover

Posted by Jai Narayan on December 22, 2003, at 16:29:03

I joined this message board with great glee. I met up with a Larry Hoover. I wondered at the delight of our connection. I couldn't be happier with each communication. I was excited each day with the deeper sharing. The guy was so amazing. I couldn't keep up with his postings he was brilliant. Every word was wonderful. His adivce well thought out.

Then I crossed the line and everything is hard.

I have never been so sad. All I can say these days is "I am sorry". I have lost the sweet connection with someone so dear. I feel I have fail a good friend. This is my ode to Larry Hoover.

I have found Larry to be a very understanding man and I'm sure there is a way to work it out.

I posted once about how some of us can be overwhelming in our questions and queries for information. I don't think he really minds, MOST of the time, but I don't think that makes it right. I feel I have been guilty of that.

I think it's very easy to think that those who don't really "act" like they are struggling and don't want to share what's going on with them are ALRIGHT. They are just like all of us with struggles and challenges. I have also been guilty and disrespectful of assuming that (the "alright" part) to be true.

I'm sure this is a workable situation... I hope it is. Larry is a great guy and and helped me greatly. From your posts, you seem to be a good person, too.
