Time for a 10?

Posted by All Done on March 25, 2004, at 2:29:57

I apologize for not knowing who started this idea, but thank you. It's a great one and I feel like I should do it for today. So, here it goes...

1. My husband is on vacation with friends and I'm finding that absence truly does make the heart grow fonder.

2. My son likes to sit next to me on the couch and snuggle really close and giggle while I read "The Monster at the End of the Book". (This has got to be one of the best things in the world.)

3. My headache finally went away.

4. A friend of mine made me smile more today than I've probably smiled in a month.

5. It's getting warmer.

6. I had and took the opportunity to return a favor for a very nice neighbor of mine.

7. I cooked a real dinner from scratch.

8. I had nice, relaxing lunch with a friend from high school.

9. Eskimo kisses.

10. As always, Babble.

I loved your list, All. Especially about the Grover monster book, because my mom used to read that to me and I remembered giggling....

Top 10

1. Not just being a patient of, but simply knowing my T-gives me hope in the human race witnessing his wisdom, kindness and relaxed way of dealing with life

2. Just got some money, so I can eat after starving for 4 days. (Yep, this is number 2. I'd rather starve than not have my T.)

3. My sister in law had her baby and everything was OK.

4. Today is Thursday and tommorow is Friday and then its only 2 days until my next appointment with T. (HA!)

5. Did I mention getting to eat?

6. I've got some books coming from Amazon.

7. The music of U2

8. I got an awesome shirt for 3 bucks the other day.

9. My FIL bought my son a new bike, because we couldn't afford one.

10. I'm alive-this is my life-I will try to be aware that no matter what happens-this is the life I was given and for that I thank God

10. I was looking at old pictures last night and realized that even those candid, goofy, caught-off-guard pictures aren't nearly as bad as I once thought they were. Hey, I'm pretty darn cute, in my own weird way, of course.

9. My dog didn't poop on the floor today and I didn't give him a treat. I must be doing something wrong here. I know I am. Why do I reward his bad behavior?

8. I laughed last night so loud that I awoke with a bellyache. Or maybe my belly hurts from that janky dinner my old man fixed?

7. I thought it was going to rain today (and I am TERRIFIED of the rain) and thought about turning around and going home on my way to class. Instead I continued on, got out of class and the sun was shining.

6. I finally figured out who the beautiful lady on my purse is. (Jayne Mansfield, BTW) I just hated not knowing.

5. I think my breasts are getting larger. Or perhaps my shoulders are getting smaller. Either way, it works for me.

4. I miss Gabbi, but I'm thinking of stalking her. Or possibly setting up a personal ad so she'll respond. Gabbi, can you hear me?

3. I have a mannequin in my basement, so everytime I do laundry in my basement I see her in the corner of my eye and my heart starts beating really, really fast. It reminds me sometimes that I'm alive!

2. Minute Maid juice in a can. You put in in the fridge and don't have to pour it. Just open the can and drink it. Thank you Minute Maid!

1. My niece(s), my sisters, my mother, my father, the rest of my family (even if they are crazy, that just makes them better!), kid, all done, elle, miss honey, gg, dinah, jai, jay, daisy, jlynne (see, I didn't forget your name!) Emmy, falls, zen!!!(my favorite hussy of all!), bubba (how could I have forgotten?), jyl, jeff, kid a, penny, slinky, bob, tabitha, pegasus, nikki, antigua (and I am SO sorry if I spelled your name wrong!!), phil, poet, joslynn, dee, and every other poster on this board that has ever posted! Shew! That was hard work! Must rest now!

1. I have time to babble again!
2. Spring!
3. Don't have to work tomorrow!
4. My husband loves me. He told me so!
5. My thyroid hormones are getting straightened out and I feel great!
6. I'm almost caught up at work
7. I'm not behind on assignments at school (reading is another matter)
8. There are these really friendly guys painting the hall outside my office today.
9. I love the people I work with. Love 'em! Love 'em!
10. Just had the most yummy lunch

OK, can you tell that maybe my thyroid hormone levels aren't quite straightened out yet? But at least now I'm on the high energy side, which, if I had to choose, is much better.

OK, you're making me wish I was one of your neighbors. Mind if I drop over for coffee? I'll bring dessert.

noa,

I live for dessert! And what's even better is that I brought dinner to my neighbor's. See, you wouldn't even have to do a thing. Just tell me what you like. But I will let you know that I'm a fan of tiramisu, chocolate cake, and oh forget it, just about anything sweet.

See ya soon!
