I saw what I wanted to see....
I sadly left out the part that I had grown up on my grandparents egg ranch till age eight. My parents helped care for the chickens and collect the eggs. I can tell all these stories about saving the chickens from viscious rats, dogs, coyotes and destructive mice. I remember it as great sport.
I forgot to pay attention to what you were saying about what hurt you. Very sad! What was I thinking?
Please trust I am here to do good... Hurting anyone is out of the question for me.

Well, your post didn't hurt me ... it made me feel better ... to know that my utter adversion for conflict and verbal agression is not all that maladaptive and / or weird.
