Dinah, how is your doggie doing?

Strangest thing... My husband and I both independently noticed last night that she appeared to be able to see.

Yet the vet says that's impossible.

My dogs are decidedly odd.

Yeah, no kidding! My cats have always had plenty more than 9 lives. Must be true for dogs, too. That is really good news.

I think it's too early to tell for sure yet, but it sure seems like she can see. She attacked Harry tonight, which she hasn't done since she lost her sight. I have no earthly idea what's going on, but I'll be delighted if the vet was wrong.

HAHAHA DINAH I like the "odd comment"...way cool if she can see...but worse case is she is adjusting really well...But why does she attack Harry??? This is not good...attack as in bite??
How and when will you know if she sees??? LET US KNOW ?

And is attacking the other dogs again. :( So I need to start giving her Prozac. When she can see, but not too well, she thinks any movement is a threat to her. Sigh.

And I need to call the eye doctor tomorrow and ask him what's up.

Well, seeing is a good thing. Fighting is not such a good thing.

I will try to use this as an example to help me to learn to think in greys...

(maybe she needs an anti-anxiety med rather than an SSRI?)
