Just wondering if there are any around... and if there are, I'd like to know what you think of the character Billy and if the writers do bipolar justice...

I *love* 6 feet under! It's one of my favorite shows! Although I don't get HBO, so I've only seen the first season on DVD so far.
My husband's family has a mortuary, and he's just gaga over this show. I guess he can relate or something.
At least in the first season, it seems that Billy is a pretty extreme version of BP, if accurate at all. I hope they're not trying to say that all of the things he does are because of his dx. I mean, the freaky little trail of horrors he sent Nate on in that warehouse toward the end of the season was way more than BP, in my opinion. And his relationship with his sister is . . . um . . . pretty unique. And I could go on and on.
But, then, I'm not BP. What do you think?

Oh my gosh! I love this show so much. I am impressed with every show.
My family is peppered with BP dx.
I know this dx within the context of my family.
Each family member who has that dx is somewhat different with the illness.
Some things are similar....but each person is unique as well.So Billy may bring some deep problems along with the BP dx.
My mother was a prima donna as a person and she added that to the BP dx.
I just have to say I love that show...
our tv died and we were not able to see the last season....does anybody know what happened to everybody?
I am so curious.
This is the end of the thread.
